UTBDR: La Sal Loop Road Closed

The LaSal Loop Rd north of Moab is temporarily closed due to road construction at the north end just before Castle Valley Road. Detour available.

Mojave Desert Ride Fundraiser - Ride and Annual Report 2017

At the end of May, nearly 50 adventure riders gathered in the remote Arizona backcountry, for the Fourth Annual BDR Fundraiser, the Mojave Desert Ride. The Nightly program included reports from the BDR staff, Board members and Ambassadors, as well as discussions of the upcoming routes, future initiatives, opportunities and challenges facing for the BDR organization. RIDE RIGHT to Avoid Collisions

Riding motorcycles off-road is dangerous. Even if you're a great rider and adhere to common safety rules, things can go wrong when you share a road with other riders. To bring attention to the inherent risk of mototrcycle travel in the left lane, and promote safe riding on trails, BDR is launching the Ride Right Initiative to remind riders to always STAYon the RIGHT side of the road to avoid head-on collisions.

NMBDR Sec 7: Now Open!

We have reports from riders that Section 7 of the NMBDR is now completely open. There are a few snow patches above 9,800 ft, but they do have trails through them and should be melted in a week.

NMBDR: NO Gas in Antonito, CO

We have been informed both gas stations in Antonito, CO the ending point of the NMBDR have no gas. Both gas stations have shut down and you will have to travel 15 miles north to La Jara for fuel.

AZBDR: Pioneer Pass Closed Due to Fire

Pioneer Pass off of Dripping Springs Road is now CLOSED due to the Pinal Fire that is currently burning. In the meantime when traveling from Winkleman, you will stay on Hwy 77 to Globe to rejoin the route.

AZBDR Re-Route Section 5 - Forest Road 203

Due to severe flooding last year Forest Road 203 is impassable and a re-route of the AZBDR is necessary.

Due to the 46,991 acre fire, the Empire Ranch section of the AZBDR Section 2 will be temporarily closed. To get to Benson and back on the route, you have two options.
