An Idaho resident, BDCW owner Kurt Forgét has shared some of his best secret motorcycle roads, and has generously volunteered his time to help scout parts of the IDBDR.  He also joined the BDR team for parts of the IDBDR expedition held in August and will appear in the IDBDR movie that comes out in January 2015.

Says Kurt Forgét, owner of BDCW, “Because we’re based in northern Idaho, we have customers tell us all the time that they’d like to ride our state. Now with the upcoming release of the Idaho BDR, they’ll have the perfect excuse to come explore, enjoy and escape in our amazing state. We’re excited about showing fellow riders our ‘backyard!’”

"We are honored that Black Dog Cycle Works has joined the BDR organization as an industry supporter and the IDBDR sponsor.  It was helpful to have a local share his knowledge of the backroads when we were putting the route together, and having Kurt join us for part of the route made the adventure even more special, said Paul Guillien, BDR Board President.  "Idaho is an amazing state and we can’t wait to hear the stories over the next few years from people who’ve ridden the route."
