IDBDR: Road Closure in Section 8

Share

washout

Update - August 10, 2018

Lightning Creek Road is still closed due to washouts and bridge washouts.  The Forest Service has not been able to repair the roads as of yet.  We reccomend you follow the re-route. To reconnect with the route from Clark Fork, remain on Hwy 200 to the junction of Trestle Creek Rd and Hwy 200 where you will remain on Hwy 200 to continue the route as planned. This is IDBDR track name: Sec 08 Clark Fork to Canada.

Some riders have been able to cross the washouts but they do so at their own risk and we do not reccomend it.

Update - August 3, 2017

The road is still closed from Clark Fork up the Lighting Creek Road. Do not attempt travel on this road.
