Bryce Stevens co-founded Backcountry Discovery Routes after the successful introduction of the WABDR. He created the route across Washington in 2010 after being inspired by a route created by others for the state of Oregon. Since then he has lead the development of the UTBDR and the IDBDR. He continues to draft and scout future BDRs each summer.
Bryce has been in the outdoor industry since 1999 when he co-founded Trails.com. Since then he has authored a popular guidebook called 60 Hikes within 60 Miles of Seattle. Mountaineering, canyoneering, mountain biking, traveling, and all forms of motorcycling are his passions.
