Tim’s career in marketing communications started at a Madison Avenue advertising agency as an art director in the mid ‘80s. He quickly realized Apple computers were going to change the industry forever and jumped ship — spending all his savings on a couple of Macintosh computers and starting the James Howard Creative Group in 1990. Decades later, the firm is still running strong, fueling small start-ups to multi-national companies with strategic creative services.
A lifelong on/off-road motorcyclist, Tim has ridden in some amazing spots around the world and continues to do so whenever possible. After riding a couple of BDRs, he realized the importance of the work the organization is doing for the adventure riding community. Living in the congested Northeast a few miles outside New York City, Tim fully understands the importance of fighting for off-highway riding opportunities. He started his involvement as a BDR member and then as an Ambassador, but Tim felt he could give more by sharing his professional experience. His firm has since taken on BDR as a pro bono account, working closely with the organization on its marketing, branding and promotional initiatives.
