- The roads just beyond Buena Vista are listed as “Restricted Roads and Restricted Area”.
- This means you will have to NF 435 (Country Rd 311) out to Hwy 285 and go north to Country Rd 22 (Weston Pass Rd) where you will go west to pick up the route again.
Order 2019-17 South Park RD Weston Pass Fire

The following acts are prohibited on the Pike National Forest, Park County, Colorado, on the below listed roads and trails located within the Weston Pass Fire Burn Area (the “Restricted Roads and Restricted Area”). The Restricted Roads and Restricted Area are described below and depicted on the attached map.
The Restricted Area is further defined as those National Forest System lands South of county road 22, east of Rough and Tumble Trail (NFST 617), the panhandle of Buffalo Peaks Wilderness on the east side, north of Salt Creek, and west of U.S. Highway 285.
The Restricted Area is also shown on the attached map, hereby incorporated into this Order as Exhibit A.
The purpose of this Order is to provide for worker and public safety while rehabilitation activities are being conducted on the property.
