The human caused Dollar Ridge Fire, which began on July 1, 2018, is currently being managed by Great Basin Incident Management Team #2 (DeMasters). To date, the fire has consumed 56,687 acres and is 60% contained. The fire continues to be active along the southern portion of the fire along the Timber Canyon Road. Firefighters will continue to improve and enhance existing firelines while constructing new fireline as needed.
This fire has impacted the route just north of Wellington to Current Creek Rd. You may follow track UT4 Wellington to Currant Creek Hwy 40 to Argyle Rd where it crosses Hwy 191. Turn right or north Hwy 191 and travel to Duchesne and then go west on Hwy 40 to Currant Creek to pick up the route again. These instructions are for travelers going South to North.
