The Summer Classic offers an adventure motorcycle experience with camping and riding on dirt B-Roads and gravel through Eastern Iowa. From September 13th to 15th, 2024, participants will enjoy scenic routes, a fantastic raffle, great food and drinks, and a screening of the Northern California BDR Film on an outdoor movie screen.
The event includes water crossings and dirt trails suitable for all adventure bikes with at least 50/50 tread. Changes from last year’s event extend the ride to multiple days, covering more miles and exploring historically significant areas. The route promises a challenging but rewarding adventure.
The schedule starts Friday evening with registration, dinner, and a screening of the latest BDR documentary films.
Saturday features a ride from Bentonsport to Sun and Fun Motorsports in Iowa City for lunch, then onward to the campsite.
Sunday’s ride concludes in Dubuque, near the start of the Trans Wisconsin Adventure Trail and NE Iowa’s Dirtifless area.
This rain-or-shine event includes an alternative road ride if conditions make B-Roads impassable.
*Preregistration is required. Event will be capped at 50 riders.
