Winter is Coming: Check snow levels with our interactive map
With winter upon us, weather and route conditions can change rapidly. Before you go, be sure and use our ArcGIS Interactive Map to view estimated snow levels on each of our routes.
- Click HERE to access the main interactive map page.
- Click on the snowflake icon in the top right of the window.
- Select all of the boxes to view the NOHRSC Snow Analysis.
- Zoom into the route of your choosing to view the estimated snow depth.
- Explore the other features of our interactive map to plan your next BDR experience.

New COBDR Tracks available for download
An updated version of the Colorado BDR tracks has been published with a few revisions. Most notably:
- The new .gpx file is named: COBDR-September2023
- The track for CO2 ALT Easier – Telluride to Lake City has been extended to bypass Ophir Pass, and rather take Last Dollar Road out of Telluride, then over Owl Creek Pass to rejoin the tracks in Lake City.
- A new track has been added called CO5 ALT Easier – Bypass Trail Gulch Rd which bypasses Trail Gulch Road in Section 5 which can be rutted, sandy, and impassable when wet.

- The new Third Edition of the Butler Map is now available for purchase which reflects these changes.
