BDR Veterans Motocycle Organizations
While the BDR mission is centered on creating new routes and riding opportunities for the broader adventure riding community, we recognize how meaningful BDR-type experiences are for veterans who ride. Although BDR does not organize riding trips specifically for veterans, there are several outstanding non-profit organizations that do this important work. We’re proud to highlight their efforts and help amplify their impact within the veterans riding community.
Other Motorcycle Non-Profits Supporting Military Veterans:
- Motorcycle Relief Project: Offers structured ADV rides to help veterans and first responders manage PTSD and other invisible injuries.
- Veterans Back 40 Adventure: Creates healthy outlets for veterans to rediscover camaraderie through ADV riding.
- Veterans Adventure Motorcycle Project: Connects veterans through off-road experiences and shared purpose.
- Veterans Charity Ride (VCR): Provides “Motorcycle Therapy” for wounded and amputee combat veterans.
- AdventureVet (Foundation 14): Supports veterans’ passion for riding through community programs and adaptive initiatives.
- Motorcycle Missions: Offers therapeutic programs, including ADV rides, for veterans and first responders coping with PTSD.
BDR is committed to building stronger connections with these organizations in the years ahead as we expand our Veterans Program, creating opportunities for veterans to ride, connect, and experience the freedom of America’s public lands.
