RAWHYDE BDR Prep

RAWHYDE’s BDR Prep is a two-day adventure motorcycle training weekend designed specifically for riders preparing to take on a Backcountry Discovery Route. This course combines classroom planning, GPS familiarity, emergency communication, packing strategy, tools, flat-tire repair, and real-world riding scenarios based on the BDR each student intends to ride.

Students will work on route-specific challenges such as rocks, sand, baby head hills, water crossings, climbs, descents, ruts, loaded-bike handling, and decision-making in remote terrain. Each class includes lodging, chef-prepared meals, RAWHYDE instruction and support, and a free Butler Motorcycle Map for the student’s chosen BDR.
