Section 4: No Fuel in Orick
The gas station in Orick has been closed and there is no info on when a new station may open.
Riders can get fuel in Hoopa (off route) or Trinidad.
The main route from Blue Lake to Trinidad is approx 92 miles.

Section 1: Usal Road Closure
Usal Road on Section 1 was closed seasonally on November 4th.
Mendocino County has added a new closure alert for Usal Road due to culvert repairs and storm damage. This also affects access to the Sinkyone Wilderness Needle Rock State Park.
UPDATE: These repairs are complete and access to the beach is restored, however Usal Road is still seasonally closed and riders must take Highway 1 / 101 / Shelter Cove Road until Usal reopens.
- Needle Rock is closed to vehicles due to a failed culvert on Mendocino County’s Briceland Road which accesses the park. Date of repair is unknown.
Usal Campground is closed due to storm damage on Mendocino County’s Usal Road and bridge which accesses the campground.
