Backcountry Discovery Routes® (BDR®), a non-profit organization dedicated to creating and preserving off-highway riding opportunities for adventure and dual-sport motorcycling, is looking for a reliable, detail-oriented team member to help pack and ship orders from our online store.

This is a part-time, hourly W-2 position based at the BDR headquarters in Seattle’s SoDo neighborhood. The schedule will begin with a full day on Mondays and a half day on one additional weekday, with the opportunity for additional hours as needed. This position is ideal for someone with a flexible schedule who is looking to supplement their income alongside freelance, contract, or other part-time work.

Responsibilities

All aspects of order fulfillment:

• Prepare shipping labels and organize outgoing shipments
• Pack and ship customer orders accurately
• Deliver daily shipments to the local post office
• Help keep the shipping area organized
• Other shipping and fulfillment duties as needed

Qualifications

• E-commerce, order fulfillment experience preferred, but not required
• Mac OS / Shopify platform experience preferred but not required
• Strong attention to detail
• Positive attitude and dependable work ethic
• Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs
• Valid driver’s license and reliable personal vehicle
• Flexible schedule with availability on Mondays and one or two additional days per week, as needed.

Compensation

• $26 per hour
• Mileage reimbursement for trips to the post office at the current Washington State reimbursement rate
