Section 3 Closure Areas in Effect
A protective fire closure is in effect on Section 3 north of Globe/south of Young.
- See attached screenshots. At this time, the closure does not affect the main route, bypass route, or ALT Harder route.
- However, the EXT Track for Aztec Peak is within the closure area and may be closed.
- Additionally, riders should be sure not to venture off track in these closure areas and remain to open roads only.

Section 2: Gated Closures
Closures are in place on the AZBDR section 2 between Mammoth and Winkelman
- It has come to our attention that this portion of the route has been gated and closed off to access.
- We are working to find more information and create a lasting solution.
- In the meantime, riders should remain on Hwy77 to avoid having to backtrack if/when they encounter locked gates.
