Vancouver Island BC BDR-X

The Vancouver Island BDR-X is a 500-mile (805 km) figure 8-shaped loop through the most remote reaches of British Columbia’s largest island. The route crosses mountain ranges, visits saltwater shorelines, and meanders past countless lakes with developed and dispersed camping along the way. Despite the island’s isolated area, food, fuel, and unique lodging opportunities abound in its tiny towns. Taking a ferry from the mainland adds to the unique experience.

The Vancouver Island BDR-X is set to release in early 2027.
