MABDR Section 1 Update (revised 5/5/25)
Section 1 of the MABDR is confirmed open and passable with a few considerations and exceptions:
- Some roads are in rough shape following the impacts of Hurricane Helene. Expect moderately challenging conditions.
- Construction crews are in place repairing bridges and laying gravel. Use caution in these areas and Ride Respectfully around crews.
