Since entering the motorcycle life, Wendy has experienced all facets of riding from work commutes to long distance touring, as well as track days, trail, ice and flat track riding. Relentlessly committed to advancing her skills she has taken extensive on and off-road training across the country, where she eventually discovered her love for both adventure riding and teaching.
During the pandemic she felt the twisty roads of the Blue Ridge Mountains calling her so she left the big city for rural South Carolina. Wendy now fuels her passion as an instructor at the BMW U.S. Riders Academy where she pulls on her previous experience in teaching, mentoring, community building, and riding. As a lifelong learner herself, Wendy is dedicated to helping her students reach their full potential as motorcyclists. Wendy’s personal mission is to inspire you to get out of your comfort zone, reach for your dreams, and live a long and happy life full of adventure.
Wendy is active in the BMW Motorcycle Owners Association (MOA), participating in speaking engagements, contributing to the ON News Magazine, and attending rallies across the country. You’ll also find her on the range working with her fellow BMW instructors running riding clinics for rally guests.
In 2021 Wendy joined the BDR team on their Wyoming filming expedition as the BMW Motorrad guest rider, and she’s now a BDR Ambassador helping the non-profit deliver on its mission.
Wendy has both written and been featured in multiple industry magazine articles, been the guest on several moto podcasts and continues to make live event appearances. She maintains a strong presence on social media where she educates and entertains on her personal journey in the moto world. Follow her @WendyInMotion.
