Announcing the First Annual
BDR 60-Second Film Festival Winners!

June 16, 2020

A Smashing Success

With entries from filmmakers around the world, the First Annual BDR 60-Second Film Festival closed as a smashing success. In a field of nearly 50 short-films, every rideable BDR route was represented with video showcasing everything from travelogues, to highlights reels and more! After one month of collecting submissions, the review panel deliberated for hours, ultimately selecting five films to be sent to the judges panel made up of BDR president Paul Guillien, BDR Director of Operations Inna Thorn and Adventure Motorcycle Magazine (ADVMoto) Editor Carl Parker.

With anonymous ballots cast, filmmaker Joshua Bauer took home top prize for his professional cinematography, thoughtful storytelling and captivating imagery!

In a heated race, Monte White’s IDBDR travelogue narrowed out the competition awarding him and his film the top award for “Rider’s Choice”!
