Winter is Coming: Check snow levels with our interactive map
With winter upon us, weather and route conditions can change rapidly. Before you go, be sure and use our ArcGIS Interactive Map to view estimated snow levels on each of our routes.
- Click HERE to access the main interactive map page.
- Click on the snowflake icon in the top right of the window.
- Select all of the boxes to view the NOHRSC Snow Analysis.
- Zoom into the route of your choosing to view the estimated snow depth.
- Explore the other features of our interactive map to plan your next BDR experience.

New Tracks Available for Download (updated post)
A new version of the NEBDR tracks is available for download labeled NEBDR-March2025.
- This file contains a few minor updates and revisions to the tracks since the August2024 versions which included:

- NE5 ALT Harder – Pepper Road has been added to replace the previous Hart Hollow ALT Harder track as these segments were inverted.
- A new optional EXT track has been added in section 8 to Diamond Ridge overlook. This is a 13 mi out and back to a great viewpoint.
- Given the indefinite closure of East Inlet Road at the previous end of the route, the adjusted ending goes directly to the Canada border.

- A brand new version of the official NEBDR map is in print and will be available soon HERE

Section 2: Bypass for Bridge Closure
A road closure is in place on Shin Creek on Section 2 near the Beaverkill Trout Hatchery.

- To bypass, simply take Beaverkill Road for 5 miles to rejoin the tracks
- The closure is expected to last through Spring, 2025

Section 5: Bypass in Place for Bridge Closure
A bridge closure is in place near the start of Section 5 in Gaysville, VT.

- To bypass, simply heard west/south on Hwy 107 then north on Hwy 100 to rejoin the tracks
- Bypass is 5.8 mi
