May 20-23, 2021
This event is put on by BDR Ambassador and MABDR route co-creator Jack O’Connor, founder of Pine Barrens Adventures LLC.
Pine Barrens Adventures will be hosting a four-day GPS guided tour of the PA Wilds for adventure style motorcycles. The route will be mostly dirt and gravel roads with some drivable forest trails. They will be connected by back country roads and some highways. You should be able to travel 100 miles between gas stops. The routes are big bike and beginner friendly, and there will also be a few optional challenge sections.
The event will use a “Roaming Rally” format. This means that the route will start and end each day at a different location. Pine Barrens Adventures will setup a new HQ at each location, you must “Check In” at the end of your ride each day, and if you are not staying at the HQ location, you must return each morning to the Start, and “Check Out” each morning at the HQ / Start. This is so they can keep track of the riders each day. There will be a mandatory riders meeting at 9 AM, so you have the latest info on the route and weather, after the meeting, you can start the days route.
Pine Barrens Adventures staff and instructors are champion Enduro, Motocross and Rallymoto racers as well as experienced adventure riders. They have been organizing AMA National and Local Adventure and Dual Sport Rides in the Pinelands since 2005, and are also officers in local enduro clubs, organizing enduro and hare scramble events. They are a “Grassroots” organization, doing this for the love of the sport.
