Our friends at Baja ADV Garage are hosting the third edition of Rally Baja ADV, a four-day adventure motorcycle rally based in Ensenada, Baja California, from December 3 to 6, 2026. Billed as Mexico’s largest adventure motorcycle rally, it is expected to draw more than 200 riders. The rally is recreational and touristic, not a race, and all bike brands and engine sizes are welcome.
Instead of a set route, riders use the NorthBikers app to find more than 180 checkpoints spread across northern Baja, from Tijuana and Mexicali south to Laguna Chapala near Cataviña. You choose which checkpoints to go after, plan your own route, and earn points at each stop. The riding area covers coastline, desert, and mountains, including Santo Tomás, Valle de la Trinidad, San Felipe, San Quintín, the Sierra de San Pedro Mártir, Bahía San Luis Gonzaga, and El Rosario. Terrain ranges from graded roads to remote desert tracks, so you can ride it as easy or as hard as you like. Categories include Dual Sport, Women’s, Couples, and Street.
Rally headquarters is Hotel Corona in Ensenada. Thursday starts with welcome kit pickup, a rider meeting, food, drinks, and music. Friday and Saturday are the main riding days. Sunday wraps up with a slow race, riding clinics, a sponsor raffle, and the awards and medal ceremony. Cash prizes go to the top three riders by points: 15,000 MXN for first, 10,000 MXN for second, and 5,000 MXN for third.
Registration is about $125 USD (2,000 MXN, depending on the exchange rate) and includes a rider number sticker, a buff, and a custom jersey for riders who register before November 15, 2026. The rally also supports communities across Baja by sending riders through local towns for fuel, food, and lodging. Register here or visit Baja ADV Garage for more information.
