In celebration of the upcoming South East BDR release in 2025, we are hosting our fundraiser ride weekend in North Carolina.
Join us on April 24-27 at the Fontana Village in Fontana Dam, NC for an incredible weekend of riding and camaraderie in the Smoky Mountains.
As always, expect a range of daily ride options tailored to various skill levels during your exploration of the Smoky Mountains.

BDR IS COMING TO NORTH CAROLINA!
The event will be hosted at the Fontana Village Resort & Marina in the heart of the breathtaking Nantahala National forest. In addition to daily rides, the program includes evening presentations and round table discussions with the BDR team and special guests.
Route options range from entirely paved routes to forest roads with challenging segments, offering a mix of wooded terrain, scenic overlooks, rocky sections, creek crossings, and stunning views of the Smoky Mountains landscape.
*All motorcycles must be licensed, street legal, and dual-sport or adventure type. DOT-legal dual sport/big block knobby tires, such as Motoz Adventure or RallZ or comparable are required.
LODGING OPTIONS
- Hotel Rooms and Cabins:
- Fontana Village Resort – BDR has a limited number of lodge rooms as well as one, two, and three-bedroom cabins reserved under the BDR room block. Book directly with Fontana Village using this special BDR guest link, or by calling 828-498-2211 and mentioning that you are with the BDR fundraiser.
- If the Fontana Village Resort is sold out, there are a few other lodging options nearby including the Historic Tapoco Lodge, the Rivers Edge Treehouse Resort, and additional options nearby.
- RV Site + Event Admission: SOLD OUT
There are six RV sites at the Fontana Village Resort available for purchase through the BDR. Choose the RV add-on option when booking through BDR. All RV sites will hold up to a 32-foot RV and have 30-amp power. The RV campground includes showers, bathrooms, and full access to resort amenities.

- If our RV spots are fully booked or if you need space for a larger rig, consider the Teaberry Hill RV Campground in Robbinsville, located just 10 miles from Fontana Dam. They’re opening earlier in the season specifically for BDR guests and waiving their usual 4-night minimum stay requirement.
- Also, in Robbinsville is the Stecoach Valley RV Resort and Campground that has 8 large RV sites for rent.
- Camping + Event Admission:
- There are eight tent camping sites at the Fontana Village Resort Campground available for purchase through the BDR. Choose the camping add-on option when booking through BDR. The campground includes showers, bathrooms, and full access to resort amenities.

- Please note, lodging is not included in the price of the event except for the limited number of RV and camping packages. Fontana Village has a variety of accommodations for you to choose from including one, two, and three-bedroom cabins and rooms at the lodge. Please see below for booking details.
